What to send with a correction

Name the entry, quote the sentence that is wrong, and give the document that shows otherwise: a catalog page with its number, a license clause, a cue sheet, a discography entry. An unsigned claim is not a correction, and a disagreement about taste is not one either. A correction that is accepted is published with its date, and the entry keeps the reason it changed.

What this desk cannot answer

The room does not answer licensing requests, does not quote a fee, does not put a composer in touch with a producer, does not clear a track for anyone and does not give legal advice on a contract. Those questions belong to a library, an agency, a publisher or a lawyer, and this desk is none of them.

About the address

The mailbox above is the only address published here; there is no phone line, no office hours and no form. If a message asks for a service the room does not perform, the answer will say so rather than forward it.
