The Cue Room

Notes on production and library music, from the brief to the license

Privacy

What this site records, what it does not, and how to ask about data.

This room is a set of static pages. It sets no cookie, runs no analytics script, loads no third-party font, no advertising tag and no tracking pixel. Nothing on the site asks a reader to log in, and no form on the site collects anything.

What the host may record

The site is served by a hosting provider, which keeps the technical logs any web server keeps in order to answer requests and to defend against abuse: an address, a time, a requested path and a user agent. Those logs belong to the host, are used for operations and security, and are not read here to build a profile of a reader. This desk receives no list of visitors.

What is written to the mailbox

A message sent to the contact address arrives with the address it was sent from and whatever it contains, and it is kept only as long as it takes to answer and to record a correction. Ask for it to be deleted and it is deleted. Nothing from a message is published without the sender being told.

What is not done

No data is sold, rented or shared with a library, an agency or an advertiser. No reader is tracked across sites, and no third-party script is embedded. If the site ever needs a tool that would change any of this, this page will say what it is before it is added.
